YNPN Des Moines is part of a national network of young nonprofit professionals. We are comprised of recent graduates, young nonprofit professionals and emerging leaders from across the sector. How much does it cost?

General membership is $35 or $15 for AmeriCorps members. However, we do not want anyone to feel like they can't participate. If you want to join, but are unable to cover the membership fee, contact us at ynpndesmoines@gmail.com. We have scholarship opportunity through our sponsors.

Am I the right age?

Yes! We are comprised of those young and young at heart from across the sector. Most YNPN members are in their 20s and 30s, and we welcome people of all ages and experiences and professional development interest. If you believe you have something to gain and something to offer the YNPN Des Moines network, we're happy to have you!

Do I have to work for a nonprofit?

No! Many members do work in or with nonprofits, and we welcome students, volunteers, people curious about nonprofit careers or board service, and many others

What kind of things will I learn?

Each year we provide monthly professional development training, discussions, and activities for our members. We also provide plenty of opportunity for networking and socializing.
